There are several major areas for entertainment in the city. There are also a good many more outside these areas but they tend to be more low quality, with uneven mixture of quality employees and facilities. These tend to be frequented more by locals, and also tend to employ some staff of dubiously young age. My recommendation is to stick with the listings I will give you here and you will have no problems.
The main area for business travelers to stay is in Makati. This is about 20 minutes from the airport when there is light traffic. Be forewarned, do NOT arrive in Manila on Wednesday night between 5 pm and 11 pm, as there is a major weekly church service near the main airport route which can result in excessively long travel times.
Luckily or in coincidence, Makati is close to all the main action as well with exception of the high class karaoke bars. So staying in Makati is a good choice. Some business travelers also stay in Ortigas, about 20 minutes from Makati. It is not so convenient so if you have a choice, stay in Makati.
I will quote all rates in PHP pesos. The rate is about 6 pesos to a HKD
Start off notes - Tricks of the Trade
First the tricks of the places, in general all places (except karaoke bars) will do this to better or worse degrees so be forewarned in all places.
The mama will try to sit you in a table, if you are alone she will try to sit you in a bench or hidden room near a secluded area of the bar with lots of empty seats. She will then bring over lots and lots of girls who will all sit around you and either explicitly ask for a drink or wait until mama tries to get you to buy them all drinks. If this happens to you look around the bar and the girls near you and decide if there is one that you are interested in, then get her to sit next to you and see if you hit it off with her. (See "hitting it off' down below). Do NOT BUY any drinks for a girl until you find one you 'hit it off' with. Most importantly, do not get suckered into buying a drink for more than one girl at the table. ~~
If you walk into a place with lots and lots of prospects, and the mama is hovering around you, it pays a bundle to buy mama a drink first and get on the right foot with her. If you buy mama a drink she will generally be much less pushy on trying to pile lots of ladies drinks on you and will listen to your preference for what you want in a girl and will make suggestions. Show her the appearance of one you like and tell her the personality and the type of performance you expect/prefer, and she will recommend some to you.
ladies drinks. ALL the gogo bars have ladies drinks, and these drinks are normally 2-3x times the price of a normal drink for you. Typically this is between 200 and 300 pesos. If you buy a girl a drink she will get a cut of this, normally between 50-85 pesos. This is the primary source of income for the girls, and SOME of the bars. Bars that rely on ladies drinks for their profits will be very pushy and you will quickly find your wallet drained. Note that a ladies drink price only applies for drinks for a lady that works in the bar. If you bring your own lady with you (which IS allowed and IS very common), your cost for a drink for your own escorted lady in the bar is normal price.
Barfines. Barfines ranges dramatically depending on the place. Barfines can be a small inconvenience or a major expense depending on what you do. A bar fine in general will allow the girl to leave the bar with you. Once you pay the bar, the girl is off duty, although if you STAY in the bar with her, they will still charge her drinks at ladies drink prices, in general get her out of there fast, otherwise she will get you to buy drinks for her friends at high ladies drink prices. The bar fine allows her to leave, but it does not necessarily mean she is going to stay long with you. I have had a ‘runners’ in the past meaning a girl who goes with you to another bar and disappears (worse case, happened once), or one who says she will go with me for long time to hotel, but when get there she tells you she is leaving after you finish. In general try to make sure you are clear with her before you take her out that she must stay long time (if you want that) or she gets no money. Make sure you explain what time in the morning or next day you consider long time. For most girls, a long time will extend until about 9 or 10 am. Sometimes if you find a girl who likes you and also if she sees a repeat business opportunity, you may find she stays with you indefinitely. In most bars the girl get a small portion of the bar fine but they will RARELY IF EVER admit to this. Note that in virtually all clubs, if you bar fine the girl she MUST report to work the next night or she will have to pay her own bar fine the following night. This means if you really want someone for the whole week DO NOT BARFINE Her. Tell her your intention and arrange to meet her outside work, either (a) come to your hotel after she finishes work (4am in most cases) or ( meet next night. This strategy normally works ok, but i have had a couple of no-shows.
Tips on Selection and Hitting It Off
In general you will know in about 5 minutes of talking to a girl. If she is quiet and not a talker then you can be sure you are wasting your time she will sit there as long as she can and get drinks but not be interested in doing anything with you, or if she does go with you she wont be good value.
As a general rule, 50-60% of the girls are very good value and are a lot of fun to go out with for dinner, drinks, dancing, and after hours entertainment, but some are just downers, try to spot those right away and extract yourself, and accept the fact you wasted money if you actually spent any money on her in the bar, and walk away and look for a new one. this has rarely happened to me as i am good at spotting the duds, but it does happen.
Saving money on ladies drinks
If you are in one the clubs that is NOT lady drink focused, then this strategy works well. Tell the girl not to drink fast and drink lots of drinks, and you will give her a big tip when you leave, normally 500-700 pesos is good. If you plan to stay in the go-go bar long time with her then this will save you a good bit of money and girl is happy cause she would have to get like 10+ drinks to get same amount on commission. Make sure no one knows or sees you tip though otherwise they will catch on.
Butterfly. Butterfly means to take out several girls from same bar. Don’t do it, you make girls look bad in front of each other (she wasn’t good enough last night, I will get a different one tonight) and causes trouble for you and them. You can ONLY do this when your girl brings other girls along with you when you meet her outside work on later nights, and she invites you to try her friends (normally with her joining both of you or watching). Also remember that many of the girls know girls in other bars from either visiting the bars with their clients/hosts or just from being friends. Manila is a SMALL city so don’t be surprised who knows who in this scene. In general though, as long as you don’t butterfly in front of a girl at the same bar you will not offend her too much.
Your own Private Entertainment. In general, the price for a girl depends upon how much she likes you, her normal going rate, how desperate business is, and how much she normally gets a Japanese client, and how much recurring business you give her or she EXPECTS you to give her in future. Remember, many (not all) of these girls don’t really want to be bargirls in the go-go bars, and in fact many of them want out and are only too happy to find a boyfriend. In fact, many of them eventually do find a foreign boyfriend and settle down you’d be very surprised at the ‘hit rate’ for them. If they have good personality and looks, they will likely not be in the scene much more than a year. The ones that don’t are in it a lot longer and are easy to spot. So, in general, treat them like a girlfriend, not like someone providing a service. Entertain them, buy them food, take them to a disco or to the hard rock café in following days. If you find one you hit off with, within 2 or 3 days you will have a regular. Also, she needs to think you are coming back frequently, this will mean they lower their price expectations for individual meetings in favor of a longer more sustained relationship. This is known by myself a ‘volume selling’ these girls understand principles of good value bundling. So the basics as follows:
If she only goes with Japanese and normally refuses others, it will cost you a lot by manila standards for long time all night (3000+ PHP).
If she gets Japanese regularly but prefers someone with better English, is fun, dances, and drinks a little, makes jokes, she will be happy with 2000-2500 for first time. These type of girls make their money with Japanese (charge them normally 5000 but they don’t like them). If you spend more than one time with her, she will often be happy with 1500 or 2000 pesos. After a number of times, even 1000 is fine as long as you treat her to drinks and meals when you go out. This one is also most likely to move into your hotel with you and stay for the week when you are there. You may also find you don’t need to give anything but taxi or pocket money if you see them often enough.
The third type is the one that does not normally go with Japanese under any conditions, these girls have less access to easy cash, so will really need that 2000 pesos per night. If she stays all week though you might prefer to just pay at the end of week, you can maybe save 30% this way, but hey, it is not a lot of money anyway, and she really needs it more than you!
mobile phones. Virtually all these girls have mobiles and will freely give their numbers to you. A few things to remember – if you give her your overseas mobile number or you call her on while in manila (they have calling id even on if your international GSM mobile is roaming) then some of the girls WILL call you on your overseas phone. All girls will want to ‘text’ (SMS) to you, but some operators, notably a few of those in Hong Kong doe not accept incoming SMS from Philippines. Also, it is very expensive for these girls to text you on your international mobile (20 pesos per message). So it is best if you have a second GSM phone that you bring it with you and you buy a prepaid recharge sim card for GLOBE or SMART – you can easily get at a phone card station in glorietta shopping center in Makati. A prepaid sim card will cost you 350 pesos, and you can recharge to as much as you like. The rate for sending a SMS to the girls is 1 peso. Then you will be able to hook up with them outside bar much better and avoid paying barfines.
j. taxis. Most cabbies wont turn on meters for foreigners, so you are expected to pay a flat rate. In general you can get ripped off if you ask them the fare, just give them the fare I list in the sections and get out of the taxi., if a cabbie complains tell him to fuck off. In general the fares I suggest are already 2x normal fare, so they are getting a good deal. Ignore any complaints it should be more cause of traffic, cause there is ALWAYS traffic in manila.
The Clubs and places to go
1. Quezon City Karaoke bars. Taxi will cost you a lot, and are risky to take here, get a hotel car and hire it for the night, do not take public taxi here. Hotel cars are 300 peso per hour in most deluxe hotels, minimum two hours. You will likely need them for 3-4 hours cause you spend 45 ,minutes to go there from Makati, and 45 minutes to get back, plus 2-3 hours in the bar. The inevitable mix of karaoke bars is clustered mainly in Quezon city, Quezon City is about 45-60 minutes from Makati depending upon traffic. The karaoke bars here tend to be the best quality bars in Manila. They cater to business people entertaining clients etc. They tend to result in the most expensive evenings one can have in Manila and in general do not provide the best investment for your dollar. The do however in general tend to have good quality entertainers, but how far any of them will go to entertain is very unpredictable. You could end up having a BJ or even getting laid in one of the private VIP rooms, or you may not even be allowed to touch her breast depending upon the girl. A night of 2-4 hours for three people plus a girl each will cost about 10,000-20,000 pesos in most of these places for the total bill. In general you should tip the girl before or during the walk out when you are leaving the place. Normally she will escort you to the door. Do not wait until you are at the door to tip her, and do not tip her when the management is around, do it when you had a little private time, or pass it to her crumpled in your hand when you kiss her goodnight. In general 500 peso tip is adequate assuming you had fun and enjoyed it. If you got nothing, then of course don’t tip. But of course if you get a nothing girl, you should call the staff and change her right away. This is acceptable. note that some girls only like Japanese so check before with mama before you pull her out of the fish bowl. Some of the top places to go are: Classmates, Pegasus, Legends, Infinity. Personally i like Classmates and Pegasus best, they are best quality. Unless you are going for business to entertain a client though, i d suggest skipping karaoke and going straight to other places.
The only way Id suggest going here is if your company will pay the bill. Bar fines to take a girl out of a Quezon city karaoke are about 5000+ pesos, in general I have never done it. SEE SECTION BELOW on bar fines under TRICKS OF THE TRADE.There are some cheaper lower quality places near Makati that have karaoke bars, one notable is Pleasure island, it is ok and cheap if you want a karaoke bar with reasonable cost. Expect a bill of 3000 PHP if it is just you for a few hours. I’m not sure what is the bar fines price.
2. P.Burgoes. Cab will be 100 peso flat from Makati. This is the area of Makati most business travelers discover first, and is the place the hotel drivers will take you unless you ask otherwise. It is close to all the main hotels in Makati, about 5-10 minutes drive unless it is rush hour traffic (normally 6-8:30 pm) then it can take up to 30 minutes. This is a single street (P Burgos) off shooting from Makati avenue. it has a lot of go-go bars on it. This place is the most expensive way to spend an evening in manila after the karaoke bars, HOWEVER it is possible to enjoy yourself here if you know what you are doing, and you are careful and friendly but firm with your spending decisions, It is VERY easy to ripped off, explicitly or implicitly here as the mama-sans who run the bars know exactly how to get money out of you. Read the tips above. Most girls in Burgos will expect a tip of 2500-3000 peso if you take them home, on top of the bar fine.
Here are some of the more popular or my favorites and the going prices.
Bottoms – probably the most popular but also the most ridiculous for prices. A bar fine is 3000 pesos, more than you would pay a girl in most places. The girl will also expect the same amount at very least, so your night will cost you 6000 pesos plus what ever drinks you buy. My opinion is the girls in bottom are no better or different than other places, and in fact you can get better elsewhere. I find they also tend to be a big more older than other in the age range of 22-25 for many. The girls are almost all speaking excellent English and are good sports, but they are experts at draining money out of you on drinks in the bar. In this bar, if you sit in the booths along the walls, after a few drinks with the girls, you may be lucky to have one of those that will do blow job on the spot, no extra money required, or she may do a lesbo show with other girl on your lap. Id say about 40% of the girls will do these things there for you after you have bought 4-5 ladies rounds. If you are not into taking someone home, this is a good alternative and fun, just be careful on buying drinks. Drinks here are 300 pesos each. Most or all the girls here will go on bar fine, but most would not go for all-nighters. Waitresses and mama are not TOO pushy compared to others, so I it is ok to say no for buying for girls sometimes. But make sure you buy some or you will sit alone. Advice, do not sit in the middle, sit along the walls, or if you just want to watch the show, sit near the stage and off to the left side, this is near the ladies changing room, you will see them all as they go in and out. The place has around 80-100 girls. Girls will let you strip them here, suck them and finger them in the booths along the wall.
Jools – one of the long running places, features a cover charge of 150 pesos which is the fee to see the show. They put on an excellent cabaret show every hour and it is a much more high class place than all the others on the strip. This is the only place you would probably consider bringing your girlfriend to. The bar fine was 2600 last time I was there, but not all the girls will go out. Many of the girls here do quite well on drinks as they tend to be more educated and chatty – management seems to go for those types of girls and they bring in those who want a companion but not necessarily a take home girl for the night. Drinks are expensive also, around 275 pesos if I recall. Mama san is VERY pushy for buying drinks and girls are experts at chugging their drinks, so watch your rounds carefully. The place has around 50-70 girls, but most are not dressed in costumes, only plain clothes. No stripping of girls, sucking or fingering here, it is a very clean place. Chat and heavy petting only.
Montanas – Montanas is the BJ capital of the street, and is next door to Jools. Sit in a secluded sofa booth and you will be bombarded with 3-4 girls plus the mama. The mama will not offer you very much privacy with the girls until you basically threaten to take your business elsewhere. The mama is EXTREMELY pushy and it makes for this to not be a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy the girls company. In fact the only thing I can say about this place is, if you want to make friends meet girls and chat with them over drinks, don’t come here cause the mamas are WAY to aggressive and push the girls to be aggressive too. On the other hand, if you are willing to be enough of an asshole to tell mama to get lost, and you are pigheaded insistent that you are only buying for one girl, after about 30 minutes of harassment, all will leave you with your girl, then you close the curtains to your booth, buy her drinks and let her start sucking. Bar fines are ridiculous here as well, 3000 pesos. It seems that many of the girls here live in places owned by the bar and they are in virtual slavery, they cannot go out for a night off. They must work all nights. I and my friends have however had excellent BJ here, so it is worth trying if you like the thrill of the scene this bar offers. If you manage yourself and mama right, you should be able to get in and out of this place in about 1 hour, and have had a BJ lasting up to 20 minutes, and have dropped around 1500 pesos, suggest you get 500 peso tip to the girl before you leave. Ladies drinks are 1500 pesos. Avoid a girl in this bar called Andrea (real name Adora), she is a thief and cant be trusted. Know several folks who she robbed LOTS of money from. The place has 15 girls on a slow night, and up to 30 on a good night. Some Girls will let you strip them here, suck them and finger them. If you want a fantastic BJ, ask for miles.
Cuddles – Next to Montanas. Cuddles is the place where I and my friend had the unfortunate experience of being ripped off. We were all having a good time, drinking and buying girls drinks freely, and the five of us each got a table so we could be alone with our 1-2 girls, and since we all left individually and settled our own tabs individually we thought all was ok, the last guy left an hour after all of us and the bar said none of us paid and stiffed him for a whole bill, to the tune of over 1000 USD. Drinks are about 250 pesos and bar fine is 2600. suggest you stay away if in big group as you cannot trust the mama and the staff to keep your bill honest. If you go in small group and carefully manage your bill and settle together, I see no trouble however , as have been there many times. Lighting is not great so sometimes you may not really see what you are getting. Have about 30 girls on a night. Girls will let you strip them here, suck them and finger them.
Fire and ice – this is sister bar of cuddles and is upstairs on top of cuddles. Many of the girls work in both bars. Has about 20 girls on a night, prices the same, warning is the same. The mamas shift between the two places. It seems more relaxed and less pressure up here cause business is much slower. If you want to drink and feel up a girl, suck her tits and finger her, this place is great cause it is REALLY dark. Also wont cost you a small fortune. Girls will let you strip them here, suck them and finger them. If you like big knockers, look for Imee. If you like perky breasts, ask for angel or bea.
Go Bananas – had a blow job in plain sight of the dance floor. Girl quality seems poor, prices seemed cheaper for drinks, I think about 220 pesos If I recall, but this place is not busy at all don’t know about bar fine, only went there once. Across street from cuddles. Got a blow job in here from a few girls, you may want to ask for Yael, good mouth skills in the bar for two drinks only (but not overly pretty).
Foxys – never stayed, only ducked in to look, it is a big disco, and lots of people, looks like a lot of good quality girls, but based on flash and glamour of place , expect it is expensive. Behind Cuddles.
Bandidos – this place is a hidden gem, it is downstairs, across the street from bottoms. The staff and mama are not aggressive and bar fine is ok. Ladies Drinks are priced at 250 peso. Bar fine is 1000 peso plus 3 ladies drinks for that girl. So your time chatting her up counts against bar fine. No secluded corners or couches, so no funny stuff goes on in this place, you take it outside. The quality of girls is good, and the music is fun, this is a fun place that gets moderately busy but the choice of girls is always good cause it seems most people who go here are regulars living in manila and they don’t do take outs, so the girls are not bar fined too often. Personally, this is my favorite. About 40 girls on a good night. Giselle is the crazy dancer here and is very entertaining to watch, you will spot her and know her by name without asking. Both to die for Is provided by Beth, look for her. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.
Rascals – this place is also moderately busy, is a bit smaller than Bandidos, and is next door to it. It features about 20-25 girls on a good night. The music is fun like bandidos, and it also has some secluded couches and corners. Girls will let you strip them here, suck them and finger them in the dark corners. Drinks are about 300 pesos, bar fine is 3000 peso. Again, expensive place, girls in costumes and plain clothes working the floor. Expect to be mobbed if you sit down first, so walk the floor and pick your preferred if you go here.
Fridays – Fridays is across street from Jools, I never spent much time there, don’t know the game.
Ivory – I only spent one visit in ivory, I do not like the layout of the place, very hard to get a good view of the stage or all the girls from any angle. Secluded couches are not secluded enough, and quality of girls seemed mixed. Many people do like it though, so maybe I never gave it a fair shake. Again, I think prices are high, ladies drink at 300 peso. Don’t know bar fine, but expect it to be 3000 or so.
Tickles – Tickles is a sister bar of bottoms is located on a side street just behind Rascals. It is very small and features maybe 10 girls on a given night. Never tried the prices, but being part of bottoms, suspect the prices are the same, 300 peso per lady drink and 3000 peso bar fine. The corner seats are secluded and the girls will readily offer BJ in the sofa corners.
Wild West – wild west is sister bar to bandidos, and features the same low harassment type of environment. It is VERY small and compressed, but features a lot of girls, in a place 1/5 the size of bandidos, it still has about 30 girls. Good uniforms too. Girls are fun and bouncy, same music. There is a lot of room to sit at stage an oogle, and ladies drinks are 250 or so. Bar fine is 1000 peso plus three ladies drinks. This one is a thumbs up too. Good prices, girls and music. This one is located on Makati avenue, and if you turn into p. burgos street you will miss it cause you cannot see it until you PASS p. burgoes. It is basically across the street from shakeys pizza. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.
Café Mogambo – Café , mogambo is also a sister bar to wild west and bandidos. Prices are same, and good value, the girls are a lot of fun here too, and the music is mixed at times. Girls do stage shows less frequently, This place is popular to take meals and is most busy from 6-9 pm in the evening. Try the Shepherds pie, the best anywhere in Asia I have gone, don’t eat anything else here. This is a great place to start your evening. If you want to play with great boobs, ask for Elaine Susanne or Shane. (Suzanne doesn’t do Bj if you take her home by the way) If you want a pretty smile, cut ass, and pleasant conversation from mixed flipino-chinese ask for clarisse. Café Mogambo is on a side street from p. burgos, immediately after right turning from Makati avenue onto p. burgoes, Mogambo is the next right. Has about 30 girls, some of whom are not so great and need a few months in the gym! Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.
Rogues – Rogues is at the very beginning of the p. burgoes street, and is literally right next to the pizza hut. It is upstairs place, with downstairs occupied by Hollywood (no experience there). Rogues features a cheap bar fine of 800 pesos if you buy girl a couple of drinks. Drinks are also cheap, I think 250 peso, but half price before 10 pm. That means you can get away with a really cheap night there if you leave before 10 and take your girl with you to bar hop. It is owned by same folks as LA café. Seems to have mixed quality girls however. Most of the best girls are in plain clothes, which is reverse to most other bars. If you like cute and fun try Michelle (who is Clarisses cousin from Mogambo) and Ivey, they are roommate and very nice girls. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.

3. Roxas Boulevard – (ask taxi to go to the bars nears Traders Hotel)
Roxas blvd is about 15 minutes away from P.Burgoes, and is a mixture of a few high end karaoke bars catering to Japanese at crazy prices, strip clubs, and lower cost go-go bars than those in Burgos. Car fare from Makati or Burgos, about 100 peso.
East Asia – East Asia is a strip club with stage show, single girl dances at a time. You can also go to a fishbowl and select girls to sit with you. Ladies drinks are 300 peso+ and barfines can be in excess of 5000 peso from what I hear. On Friday or Saturday they charge you a cover of 650 peso also. Personally I think this place is a rip off. But if you want strip show, this is where to go
Chaos – low pressure go-go bar, about 1 minute walk from East Asia. This place has two lady drink prices, normal and special of the week. The special of the week is 300 peso and the normal lady drink is 185 peso. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN SERVICE FOR THIS PRICE. The girl get a stuffed cuddly toy for and a fancier drink, but that is it. So but normal drink, if you like girl, buy her one special of the week to show her some attention before you leave. Bar fine is 900 peso. Girls are mixed but most are very fun and more than up for a good time bar hopping and clubbing. Try Rica, Kelly or Kate, they are very nice. Good place to spend the evening. Generally the girls here will be happy with a personal tip of 2000 peso if you take them home. Sometimes they will be happy with even 1500 peso if they like you a lot. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.
Visions – 5 minute from Chaos, similar to Chaos, music is not as good though, prices are same, low pressure. Good choice for economical evening. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here.

4. EDSA complex
This is a purpose built building on the main road to EDSA, it is about 10 minutes from the bars on Roxas boulevard. All cabbies know this place, if they pretend not to know, then get out. Cab fare from Makati or p. burgoes about 150 peso. From Roxas boulevard is 100 peso.
This place is also called the SHOPPING MALL by many of us. It is a building with a number of go-go bars, all doing the same thing. These bars are not like those in Burgos, where they bar owners want you to stay and drink - these bars make their money on volume of bar fines. They try and get people to take as many girls out of there as possible. So you will almost instantly asked by mama after you buy a first lady drink if you want to bar fine the girl if you are not sure just nod and say we’ll see later. Ladies Drinks in all bars are 185 peso, and bar fine is 1000 peso. Sometimes on a busy night, the mama will insist you buy the girl one lady drink before you bar fine her, sometimes mama will not ask. Age range is mostly 18-21, but beware, there are some here under 18, in fact, there are some as young as 13 or 14. if you doubt her age, then trust your instinct and move on, don’t get something under 18, you may be asking for trouble if hotel makes a police call on you - it rarely happens, but it has been known. As well sometimes an underage girl is working with the police to catch those who buy them young, and police show up and demand a big payment or they will arrest you,. If they arrest you, you will BE on TV and front page of newspapers next day or two.
Do not let the above scare you, just trust your instincts and stay away from those you even suspect of being under 18 or 19.
Firehouse. This is THE place to pull from, in general best quality and biggest choice of quality. Many of the girls are a lot of fun. Only a couple of underage here from what I know, and I know this place the best and know a lot of the girls here really well. They confirm to me there are only a handful of girls under age, 16-17. if you want to bar hop, save this place for last, cause chances are 90% you will prefer to do your bar fine from here. At the prices and quality in this place, you may want to take 2 or 3 home. Strictly no stripping the girls here, take it all outside. All the girls go out here. 80-100 girls on a good night.
Pitstop – also good quality, second only to firehouse. Same prices. Generally seems to be mostly of legal age girls. 30 girls on normal night.
My Fair – mixed quality. About 50-70 girls. Beware, this place seems to be worst for young girls, you will readily pick out the 13,14 years old ones here. Be very careful when you pick from this place. even those that look of age may only be 16 or 17. same prices as firehouse.
Jambalaya – smaller place, lower quality of girls, seem to fatter and only about 15 girls. Same prices.
Cotton Club. Largest place in floor space, but very mixed quality, and potentially some girls too young to be here, be careful here too on age. Same prices. About 60-70 girls.
Sambia – same prices, about 25 girls. Ok quality.
Casino – third best after Pitstop in quality and choice. About 20-30 girls. Same prices
Summary: firehouse firehouse firehouse. If you want something different go to casino or Pitstop. Use all the other places for warm ups if you will spend the night here ogling.
5. Freelancing
There are few other places where girls freelance. Some of the girls freelancing are from the bars above, but want to take a night off from the bar and mama cause they need a break form the pressure and are in a hunting mood themselves. The most common are as follows:
Hard rock Café, Glorietta Shopping Mall, Makati. Gets going most nights around 11 pm, and features live music every night. 300 peso to get in, gives you two drinks. The bar girls love the hard rock, if you take a bar girl out and want to go out with her, instead of just going home and doing the dirty, she will want to go to the hard rock café 9/10 times. The bands are normally very good, and the dance music is good too. Dancing starts after 11 pm. Freelancers who come unaccompanied and are looking to hunt for a guy of their own choice for the night are found all around the bar at the very back. On a very busy night, they will line up along the wall by the DJ and cashier and watch the band also. You can make eye contact with those on the wall by walking to bathroom and looking at each girl in the eye. The girls whose eyes light up and smile will be game to hunt. BEWARE, normal girls out for a night will also be here, so be careful on your approach. Of course, it is quite easy to pick up normal non working girls too (if you are white and ok looking that is). The freelancers sitting all around the bar will be mixed quality and vary every night, some are bar girls and some are true freelancers. I personally STAY AWAY from full freelancers cause they do not get the mandatory weekly health check up from their bar’s doctor like all bar girls, so there is higher risk of trouble. The girls will want you to buy them tequila 9/10 times. This will set you back 200 peso per shot. LA Café. This is in Ermita, in Malati, about 20 minute from Makati, pay 150 peso to cabbie. This is 95% freelance place with some of the girls who are skipping work from edsa complex also. Most of the freelancers will tell you they work in EDSA complex when in fact they don’t. This is cause they know guys wont pick up freelancers in LA café. This place can be dangerous cause there are a lot of local freelancers, who may have disease or may rob you or drug you, and you will not be able to find them again since they are not bar girls, and you cant go to the bar to press charge or confront them. Best advice, only take an LA café girl if you already know her from EDSA or Roxas blvd or Makati. Otherwise, bring your own girls here. This place has two floors, up and down stair, downstairs is a pub and pool hall ,upstairs is dancing with band, can be quite good on thursday-Saturday night, ok for Sunday-wed nights. I usually bring 2-3 girls with me and party with them here all night. Booze is dirt cheap for you and the girls. You can walk out of this place with your three girls piss drunk and only have spent 1000 pesos and also had some snack food! If you do take a freelancer here, you can pay 1000 or 1500 peso, but no more. Do not walk in the neighborhood , it is very seedy and dangerous, get cab drop you to the door and pick up at door.
Orange –disco In Makati, rocks on wed, -Saturday nights, many many girls will like you to take them here, but don’t go before midnight, it is dead. You will find off duty bar girls here, but few ‘true’ freelancers. If she says she works in a bar here, she is most likely telling the truth.d. Some where Else – in back of the inter continental hotel, used to be called Euphoria, main night for this disco is Wednesday night, packed at 1130 pm. Lots of locals and off duty bar girls can also be found. Careful how you approach here, assume all girls are locals just out for good time unless indicated.
Street girls – stay away, most of them are lady boys or have diseases and got kicked out of the bars
